How to Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your ChargeLink account and all associated data directly from the app. This process is irreversible.

Method 1: In-App Deletion (Recommended)

1. Open Settings

   Launch the ChargeLink app and navigate to the Settings screen from the bottom navigation bar.

2. Find "Delete Account"

   Scroll down to the "Tehlike Bölgesi" (Danger Zone) section and tap "Hesabı Sil" (Delete Account).

3. Confirm Deletion

   Read the warning message carefully. Tap "Hesabımı Sil" (Delete My Account) to proceed.

4. Enter Your Password

   For security, you will be asked to enter your password to verify your identity.

5. Account Deleted

   Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted. You will be redirected to the login screen.

Method 2: Email Request

If you are unable to access the app, you can request account deletion by sending an email to gammasoftware0@gmail.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request." Please include the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days.

What Data Is Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

• Profile data: Display name, email, photo URL, and Firebase Authentication account
• Vehicle data: Your selected vehicle and its specifications
• Favorites: All saved favorite charging stations
• Charging history: All past charging session records
• Community data: Your community memberships, posts, and messages
• Shared chargers: Any charging points you submitted for sharing
• Direct messages: All conversations and messages
• Notifications: All notification history and preferences
• Stats & badges: Usage statistics and earned badges

Data Retention After Deletion

• Your account is deleted from Firebase Authentication immediately
• Firestore user document is deleted immediately
• Community messages show as "Deleted User" (author ID is anonymized)
• Firebase Crashlytics crash reports are automatically deleted within 90 days
• Backup systems may retain data for up to 30 days after deletion
